A new political climate and fewer resources for municipalities to deal with the "unhoused" has CLEARLY changed tactics in Kansas City proper.
The days of lavish local resources and outreach for the homeless might be over given that the tactic clearly didn't help win elections and encountered a great deal of criticism.
Accordingly . . .
Here's an important local update the local news junkies might've missed . . .
"Upwards of 30 people had lived in this camp up until approximately one month ago when the city began to offer services and relocation assistance to camp residents before coming in to clear the camp"

BREAKING- Kansas City City Crews were hard at work Thursday morning, Nov. 21 at the intersection of Chouteau Trafficway and Belmont Boulevard - clearing a large homeless encampment along the east bluff of Kessler Park.
