Stolen vehicles, drugs and firearms were taken off Kansas City streets during election night enforcement efforts in the Crossroads and River Market areas.
The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department says that on election night, Tuesday, Nov. 5, law enforcement officials took to the streets to investigate auto thefts and other associated crimes in the Crossroads, River Market and nearby areas.
Investigators said they focused on areas based on data and previous reports. A helicopter was able to follow one vehicle that attempted to speed away from patrol vehicles on the ground which led to several arrests.
