Report: Kansas City Cubans Fear Communist Tendencies Rising

We were gonna throw a little shade on this post but upon further consideration . . . 

TKC totes believes that there's some local Cubans out there fearing communists around every corner. 

Given the latest grid collapse in their home country . . . Concerns regarding misguided governance aren't completely unfounded. 

Also, Red Scare rhetoric is way more fun than the current era of American bully politics wherein EVERYONE is either a Nazi or a Trans predator. 

And so here's a quote from the recent local testimony from the "Pearl of the Antilles" that's still slightly nicer than Haiti . . .

They’re all frightening hallmarks of communist nations – and Cuban émigrés in Kansas City see it all happening here, as they and their forebears did under Fidel Castro.

“A lot of the Cubans I know are asking why they risked everything in the ’60s/’70s/’80s to come here if this place would eventually end up falling to communist goons,” one Cuban native and longtime area resident who wished to remain anonymous wrote to The Heartlander unsolicited.
