The Kansas City Police Department reported that officers were dispatched to the shop at 7:42 a.m. on Nov. 6 for reports of a prowler or suspicious activity. When they arrived, they found damaged windows and doors on the front of the building.
KCPD said a report was taken and they are currently investigating.
Café Cà Phê posted about the incident on Facebook, stating that the staff was safe but “not well” in light of the vandalism, which coincided with the closing of the contentious 2024 presidential election cycle.
