MONEY Determines Missouri Abortion Vote

For Sunday we must myth-bust common political misconceptions that dominate discussion around Missouri's upcoming abortion vote.

In ongoing attempts to persuade, neither faith-based morality nor the eternal crusade for women's rights offer us any REAL insight into the human condition confronted by the Missouri electorate.

It's comforting to believe that voters are guided by spirituality or even social justice but the cruel reality is that every vote is merely/mostly an expression of somebody's financial interest.

A few facts to support our thesis . . .

- First and foremost, the Missouri pro-abortion effort is powered by 30 MILLION BUCKS worth of political fundraising against a paltry few million by opponents.

- In recent federal court objections to the abortion pill, Missouri Republicans were lambasted in their argument that lives lost to early termination of pregnancies have lowered “birth rates for teenaged mothers,” arguing it contributes to causing a population loss for the states along with “diminishment of political representation and loss of federal funds.” Technically, this might be correct but it did little to sway the emotions of higher courts or the electorate.

- Finally, when we look at the big picture, US birth rates falling and Americans having fewer kids is mostly viewed as an economic threat that will doubly impact future generations

Forgive us for being blunt as we summarize . . .

The horrific reality is that POLLING SUGGESTS both Republican & Democratic Party voters have dismissed partisan and religious calls to action and MIGHT realize that access to abortion serves as an economic safeguard in an increasingly dystopian society that has devalued human life by way of war, economic disparity and now technologically powered AI social engineering.

Real talk: Most people don't have money for kids.

Even worse, so many people across the globe seem to be deciding that struggling for family might not be worth it if future generations will only serve as wage slaves for cruel corporate & political tyrants who dominate humanity by leveraging seemingly infinite resources against any objection.

Ironically, the ruling class have yet to invent robot replacements or assimilate migrants fast enough to prevent the devastating impacts population decline. Good luck!!!

And so . . .

We'll quickly move along from this soul crushing fact of life and continue with political discourse that offers far more polite and socially acceptable reasoning that's more easily consumable for the public.

Check-it . . .

"Republican U.S. Sen. Josh Hawley faces a well-funded and active opponent on Tuesday in Democrat Lucas Kunce. The challenger has closely tied his campaign to the abortion-rights ballot question and has distanced himself from national Democrats as he tries to appeal to voters with a populist message.

"But even with Democrats largely attaching themselves to Amendment 3, Missouri voters may be poised to deliver a split decision Tuesday: legalizing abortion and electing Republicans up and down the statewide ticket."
