We nearly missed this bold statement from Kansas City's top conservative talker BUT BEST & BRIGHTEST READERS SUGGESTED IT and it's worth doubling back in order to pick up. 

Consider . . .

CONSERVATIVE KK NO LONGER THINKS IT'S WORTH SUBSCRIBING TO THE STAR EVEN TO CHALLENGE THEIR OPINIONS!!!

Think about that for a sec . . .

This is a career news talker with a massive following who gets PAID to have a comprehensive view of the news and consider every angle and gather every bit of available information. Now, The Star simply isn't worth it for him. Do the math and realize that the value proposition for the average news reader is almost nil. 

The big question . . .

Now that dead-tree media is no longer mandatory reading for even the most avid denizen of the local discourse: Can the newspaper remain viable by only offering readers what they want to hear???

Honestly . . .

We'd like to get some push back on this:

WHY SHOULD KANSAS CITY KEEP READING THE STAR IN A WORLD OF INFORMATION OVERLOAD!?!
