David Hawley, the museum’s Co-Owner, said that putting a hotel in its place will add to the parking woes that the City Market has faced for years.

“You add a hotel to this already congested shopping area here in the city market, they’re going to be desperate for more parking,” said Hawley, “I can’t imagine people where people would drive from out of town and have no place to park their car.”
