Voters never give any credit to politicos for building jails . . . It's like plumbing. A complicated fact of life that only becomes a crisis when broken.
Here's the word . . .
"The city plans on using the one-quarter cent or two-eighths of a cent public safety sales tax that shoppers in the city already pay for to help build this. Councilman Crispin Rea says that the tax expires in 2026, so it would need to be renewed."
