Kansas City Mayor Q Must Challenge Congressman Cleaver Or Quit

Weeks of campaigning for Veep Kamala Harris was nothing more than a fool's errand for Kansas City's mayor.

MAGA rising from the ashes limits Mayor Q's options going forward and ruins career prospects for one of the youngest Mayors in Kansas City history. 

Behind the scenes Mayor Q's team talks up his bankroll and a network of big money patrons at the national level . . . Sure, he could play kingmaker but there are far better tacticians, campaigners and fundraisers than Quinton Lucas & Co.

Now . . . The die is cast . . .

MAYOR Q MUST PUSH CONGRESSMAN CLEAVER OUT OF OFFICE OR THINK ABOUT ANOTHER LINE OF WORK!!!

Statewide options are nonexistent . . . Missouri Republicans earned another sweep and at the national level . . . Sellout fake Democrats like Lucas Kunce were embarrassed. 

There is no place for Mayor Q in Jeff City or the US Senate. 

However . . . 

Congressman Cleaver recently turned 80-years-old and, statistically, it's very unlikely he'll serve another term. 

Then again . . . In Kansas City, Congressman Cleaver hold more REAL LIFE LOVE from voters than any other local elected official. Despite so much empty GOP rhetoric against his tenure. In practical terms the Congressman has been a longtime respected statesman of KC and he could run until he's 100 if wanted to . . . 

And so . . .

After consulting with many KICK-ASS www.TonysKansasCity.com readers, a few insiders and this chatty hobo in front of me at the QT coffee line . . .

Mayor Q isn't cut out to be a behind the scenes power player . . . He's an elected leader, a somewhat skilled public persona and someone who thrives in the spotlight. In fairness, he deserves credit for backing one of his staffers Melesa Johnson in her successful bid for Jackson County Prosecutor and behind the scenes we hear he has more plans for 12th & Oak power plays. 

Nevertheless . . .

Pushing out Congressman Cleaver will be a nearly impossible task that will force Mayor Q against some of the fiercest political players on the East side.

In fact, Mayor Q's success is unlikely and a replacement for Congressman Cleaver will be a generational struggle sure to make bitter Kansas City enemies for a generation.

But in an American political theater now dominated by MAGA . . . This power play against his own community is now the only path forward for Kansas City's Mayor IF he plans to stay in politics.
