Kansas City Expert Seyz 'Sophisticated Cartel' Likely Robbed Mahomes & Kelce

Okay . . . There might be a need to clarify just so the rubes don't get too excited.

Most news readers understand the local expert is using the word "cartel" likely meaning an association or coalition of criminals . . . And he's likely correct. 

However . . .

When we're talk "South of the border" it's hard for many locals to distinguish one country from the next and it usually ends with somebody yelling "Go Back To Mexico!" at TKC from a passing car when I'm trying to buy coffee at the QT . . . Not complaining . . . It's comforting to know that suburban visitors to the Westside feel at home . . . Maybe?!? The point is there are MANY CRIMINAL CARTELS South of the Border & across the world and . . . Like most things . . . Not all of them are created equal and many of them have different specialties.

But I digress . . .

About this suspected high-end South American robbery cartel . . .

A group of Chilean criminals recently garnered headlines for a string of elite U.S. robberies that ended with their capture.  

And so . . .

This brings us back to the criminality confronting Super Bowl ballers and news that's garnering international headlines . . . Check-it:

Police believe the robbers are involved with a South American crime ring.

"It doesn’t surprise me at all that this crime spree that is going across the entire country is designed by some very sophisticated people in somewhat of a cartel," Expert Mike Barbieri said.

"If you have a particular individual that’s an athlete, a wealthy CEO, you can find out just about anything you need to find out about these people online."
