Justice Horn Admonishes 'Dysfunction' As Jackson County Struggles To Direct Fed Cash

The deadline looms and one of Kansas City's rising political stars is calling out local elected officials who haven't yet reached a compromise.

"The dysfunction within the Jackson County Legislature is putting the allocation of the $70 Million in ARPA funds at risk. Their refusal to attend a simple meeting—driven by pride—reflects a troubling lack of professionalism and civility with some at our county. I hope a change occurs, folks come to the table, and a deal is made—The residents deserve it and our future depends on it."
