Jackson County COVID Cash Debate: Will Team Frank Find The Votes?!?

We're a long way from a compromise at the courthouse this week.

In fact . . . 

ACCUSATIONS OF "ILLEGAL" FUNDING IDEAS ABOUND AND DANGER OF THE RETURNING THIS CASH FOR THE FEDS SEEMS VERY LIKELY!!!

However . . .

That would be so devastating that we're certain that some compromise is going to emerge if only to keep from blowing up the career at everyone on this side of 12th & Oak.

Here's the latest update and a report worth checking . . .

It appears there’s two groups with differing ideas. The first includes White and legislators Jalen Anderson, Megan Marshall, and Joanie Lauer, who favor a particular plan. On the other side are legislators Sean Smith, Manny Abarca, and others who prefer broader spending proposals.

While both sides want the $70 million in American Rescue Plan funds to stay in Jackson County, they want to spend it in different places, which has led to the current impasse.
