Insiders Speculate Mayor Q Lateral Move To Jackson County?!?

Hear me out . . . 

For years we've been talking about Mayor Q's upward ascendancy . . . And now . . . Obviously his career trajectory has changed.

However . . . 

It's very unlikely Mayor Q is going to call it quits on his political career and instead he might be looking for refuge in an office where power is often unchecked.

And that brings us to an interesting bit of SPECULATION that's not circulating amongst insiders and recently shared with our www.TonysKansasCity.com blog community: 

WILL MAYOR Q MOVE ACROSS THE STREET AS JACKSON COUNTY EXECUTIVE?!?!

Sure . . .

It's not glamorous but it's safe. 

Remember . . .

Mayor Q is still sitting on a pile of money, far more than any contender at the county level.

Sure . . . Maybe Mayor Q isn't beloved in Jackson County BUT he still might be more likeable than Jackson County Exec Frank White.

Finally . . . 

Victory at the county level ACTUALLY brings Mayor Q closer to statewide ambitions and might foster a better working relationship with a myriad of local elected officials. 

Again . . . This is a lateral move but one that might be more practical and insulate the Mayor from both media scrutiny & political attacks.
