CLAY COUNTY REPUBLICAN CENTRAL COMMITTEE DIRECT MISSOURI SENATORS TO SELECT SENATOR RICK SCOTT OR J.D. VANCE TO BE THE MAJORITY U.S. SENATE LEADER

This Wednesday, November 13, 2024, around 11 AM, the U.S. Senate will be voting for the Majority U.S. Senate Leader. Several Counties in Missouri are sending our Missouri U.S. Senators Josh Hawley and Eric Schmitt resolutions encouraging them to vote for either U.S. Senator Rick Scott or Vice President Elect J.D. Vance to be the Majority Leader of the U.S. Senate. Both Senator Rick Scott and Vice President Elect J.D. Vance are very supportive of President Elect Donald J. Trump.

Senator John Cornyn has been mentioned as a possible candidate for the Majority U.S. Senate Leader. Senator Cornyn has been against President Trump and is not a candidate that our U.S. Senators should back. The constituents of Clay County, the State of Missouri and the United States of America have made their voices heard by the overwhelming vote of confidence in President Trump & Vice President Elect J.D. Vance, as well as taking over the Senate and the proposed House.

As the Clay County Republican Central Committee we join with the other Missouri Counties that are listening to the voters and send this resolution to our MO Senators to not only vote for Senator Rick Scott or Vice President Elect J.D. Vance but to do an Open Roll Call Vote to show publicly their support for either of these nominees and for President Trump.
