Every drug has a side-effect and this weekend we notice that the celebrated era of legal weed in the metro also comes with very specific consequences.

LEGAL WEED DISPENSARY HEISTS MIGHT BE THE NEW HOTNESS FOR LOCAL CROOKS!!!
Consider . . .
- The businesses are cash heavy because of banking regulations and, obviously, their products are in demand.
- Customers aren't exactly "on their A-game" and vulnerable to crooks preying on distracted people.
- Rising property crime has been impacting everyone in the KC metro and this manifestation merely shows us that, just like bank robber Willie Sutton . . . Crooks rob weed stores because "that's where the money is."
Even more interestingly . . .
Credit to Fox 4 as the local news outfit documented this legal weed robbery WITHOUT MENTIONING MARIJUANA once.
And whilst TKC will never give into "reefer madness" we would be honest if we didn't acknowledge this crime trend against legal weed taking hold in other towns, finally hitting the Kansas City area and posing a very real threat to the biggest cash crop boom that Missouri has seen since the golden age of tobacco.
