Reported Rampage Shuts Down Kansas City East Side Walgreens

There are still a lot of deets that need to be straightened out but here's what we know right now regarding the tragic fate of the Kansas City Walgreens at Linwood & Prospect . . . 

- Multiple social media sources report a woman ransacked the urban drug store. There are UNCONFIRMED reports that she poured gasoline on registers. 

-  The location has been besieged by unruly customers for months. Check user reviews for universally AWFUL comments related to customer service and clientele behavior. 

- The store is temporarily shut down and many reports indicate homeless and scavengers have started to raid nearby dumpsters for leftover goods. 

Now . . .

Some of the deets are speculation and others are just hyperbolic reaction to an objectively shocking attack. 

Skeptical readers are correct to withhold judgement until we know more . . .

That being said . . . Urban drug stores have been under attack in recent years and the current setup isn't designed to withstand outright hostility from some (but not all) patrons.
