A trend that is making neighborhood life miserable for so many Americans now confronts clap back in this town's very best suburb . . . Check-it:

"That vote passed 10 to 2 Monday night after a lot of public feedback from people on both sides of this issue. This 10 to 2 vote bans short-term rental stays of less than 30 days, while rentals of more than 30 days will still be allowed. Anyone who violates the new ordinance faces a fine of $500."

The Prairie Village city council voted to ban short-term rentals in the city on Monday night.


Prairie Village short-term rental ban puts owners in limbo; city gives them 1 year to change use of property

By November 2025, short-term rentals will not exist in Prairie Village neighborhoods - there must be a 30-day minimum stay.
