Another dead-tree demise as upbeat news about the economy doesn't really match local news and a great deal of economic hardship we're seeing in our communities . . . Check-it:
"International Paper confirmed to KCTV5 on Friday, Oct. 18, that it plans to close its packaging facility in Kansas City, Missouri, near Vineyard Estates. More than 150 employees are expected to be laid off as a result."
