To be fair . . .
At least readers might get a bit of utility out of wasting time with the family at the mall whereas most people have found more efficient ways to line pet cages and don't really need the newspaper anymore.

A new, single-level carousel is expected to open at the Overland Park mall, 11149 W. 95th St., in November. An exact date has not been decided.
Oak Park Mall, which has been open since 1974, has had a carousel since at least the 1990s.

Johnson County mall lost long-time carousel last year. Soon, a new one will replace it
Oak Park Mall in Overland Park near Kansas City is unveiling a new carousel soon, a year after its family entertainment center moved out.
