Newbie Kansas Politico Apologizes For Claiming K-State Degree

This isn't really a serious error and our fellow KU fans might claim that no degree is actually better than Wildcat credentials.

However . . .

We merely post this note to remind younger readers . . . Or more likely their parents . . . That college degrees still matter even if the online discourse discounts their merit in order to trick gullible future service workers. 

Now, here's the almost apology . . .

“There was never any ill intent to withhold information from anybody regarding my degree attainment,” Republican District 67 Angel Roeser said. “It was a mistake, and I fully, completely own that. I would like to say to anybody who I’ve misled, I am so incredibly, incredibly sorry. I really do believe that that is something that differentiates a leader and a politician.”

The Mercury on Tuesday reported that university records show that Roeser, 23, is currently a senior in human development and family science at K-State but doesn’t have a degree.
