Mayor Q Shames Kansas City Victims Of Gun Theft?!?

In fairness, there's two ways to consider a recent social media message from Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas.

Supporters might say that Mayor Q is merely providing public safety advice.

Meanwhile . . .

Critics condemn the hall honcho for casting blame on victims of crime.

And so we put the question to TKC readers as more than two dozen stolen guns are likely already making their way to local streets . . .

IS MAYOR Q WRONG TO OFFER GUN TRANSPORT ADVICE IN THE AFTERMATH ON AN EPIC FIREARM HEIST?!?

Here's the quote so readers can judge for themselves . . .

"Friendly reminder: Please don’t leave your one gun or your 25 guns in your vehicle when you’re going somewhere."

The responses were mixed but here are some of our  www.TonysKansasCity.com favorites quotes . . .

A counterintuitive notion . . .

"It is safer to carry it on your person. Thanks for the tip Mayor."

More deets . . .

"It wasn't a typical vehicle. It was a U-Haul driven by employees working for Stag Arms & Aero Precision USA, a gun manufacturer traveling through the metro and stayed a hotel. Don't blame the employees, blame the thugs and get criminal's off the streets."

Big picture . . .

"Also friendly reminder: Don't steal."

You decide . . .
