MAGA Rally Standup Swiftie OJ Joke Triggers Kansas City Star

Context . . .

OJ jokes were officially outdated in 1997.

That's just an indisputable fact and something that should provide perspective for this discussion which only serves to signal that the American discourse has truly hit rock bottom.

But it gets worse . . .

KANSAS CITY STAR REBUKES DUMB OJ JOKE INVOLVING TRAVIS KELCE & TAYLOR SWIFT WITH SCATHING EDITORIAL ACCUSATIONS OF ATTEMPTED MURDER!!!

We're only being a little hyperbolic.

First, we have to drudge up this dumb Kelce/Swift/OJ joke . . .

The Kansas City Chiefs star was bizarrely targeted by comedian Tony Hinchcliffe as the 'Kill Tony' podcast host addressed the New York crowd at the famous arena.

'I don't know about you guys, but I think Travis Kelce might be the next OJ Simpson,' the comedian quipped with the unsavory remark drawing a few sheepish laughs from the Trump supporters gathered inside MSG.

Now, here's how the newspaper editorial sees it . . .

"That 'moron' spirit and the 'I’m just kidding' excuses when things go too far are big in the podcasting environment Hinchcliffe succeeds in, and it dovetails nicely with the message Trump is selling hard in the final days of the election. Crude, even obscene humor is a major part of its appeal to young men who are understandably resentful about what we used to call 'political correctness.' In that world, calling Puerto Rico 'garbage,' or saying Vice President Harris is 'sh**,' as Trump did a few days ago, isn’t shocking at all. For the rest of us, though, suggesting that a sweet romance between two beloved public figures is going to end up in a bloodbath is still alarming to most Americans, I’m betting."

Don't hold your breath.

Again . . .

This election is getting dumber by the second and we can only hope it's all just spectacle to distract Americans away from the people and/or space aliens who really control things.

TKC aside . . .

History might show us that the Puerto Rican joke that resulted in the Bad Bunny nod to Kamala Harris was probably the biggest result of the Madison Square Garden MAGA hot mess.

Meanwhile . . . The MSG hot mess continues to dominate headlines today.
