In the very near future look for Kansas City leaders to get even more serious about push back over the Lee's Summit airport moniker. 

Homegrown complaints like this one might be just the start of a corporate metro dispute. 

And so we share this not-quite-high-flying suburban sentiment still rising . . .

"We understand the importance of air travel and regional growth. However, the Lee's Summit Airport was meant to be a community resource, not a constant source of disturbance. There were promises of stringent courtesy rules to mitigate noise, but disappointingly, these rules have been ignored and unenforced.

"Residents of Lee's Summit, we need your help to uphold the essence of our town and prevent it from becoming another bustling, noisy airport city."
