Kansas Prog Blog Works To Convince Voters Of Crime Drop Ahead Of 2024 Election

To be fair . . . In most of Kansas, crime isn't really a top concern. 

However . . .

In JoCo and The Dotte along with Wichita there is a very real crime threat . . . Meanwhile here in KCMO we hope the politicos aren't silly enough to brag about the crime drop given that last year set an all-time record for bloodshed . . . Even worse . . . This weekend seems "quiet" despite four homicides recorded since Friday.

To be fair, here's their side of the story . . .  

Murders and intentional manslaughter, known as non-negligent manslaughter, fell by 11.6% from 2022. Property crime dropped by 2.4%.

Overall, FBI data shows that violent crime fell by 3%.

Violent crime has become a major issue in the 2024 presidential race, with former President Donald Trump claiming that crime has been “through the roof” under the Biden administration.
