Earlier this month we talked about tough times for the nonprofit news model providing local coverage.
On the bright side . . . Maybe . . . We might see more donation-based coverage if former Prez Trump takes back the White House given that people are more apt to pay for content that they want to hear.
However . . .
Right now we notice that even the nonprofits haven't found a way to sustain a local outlet that might not garner eyeballs that attract huge donations but still needs a local source of reliable info.
Check their resignation letter and focus on delivering KCMO talking points for progressives . . .
