Kansas City Stays Losing $200K After Downtown Tiny Home Scheme

Very much like the hobos passing in and out of town on their way to their next adventure or a tragic back alley demise . .  12th & Oak taxpayer cash has also vanished. 

The punchline is that NOBODY is losing much sleep over the cash during election season and newspaper accounting hasn't really garnered a buzz amongst a readership that mostly believes whatever the current administration shares via social media.

Still . . . 

The reporting is important and deserves at least a casual look . . .

"Kansas City made a $200,000 down payment to purchase pallet homes intended for people experiencing homelessness. But the city has yet to receive the materials it paid for from the company. And officials say once it does, the tiny homes will likely not be used for that initial purpose."
