Ironically . . . Given river market parking probs . . . Skateboard are probably the best mode of transit in order to navigate downtown.

Here's a peek at the planning session and a whole new generation of Kansas City denizens learning that trusting city hall is typically a losing game . . . Check-it:

"A skateboard held open the door to the Mid-America Regional Council’s board room Wednesday, October 23 overlooking the Buck O’Neil Bridge. Skaters and BMX riders said they were stoked at plans for a 20,000 square foot skate park, as they share their vision for the project."

Skaters convene for design meeting of Buck O'Neil Bridge skate park

The yet-to-be-named skate park is planned underneath and on the west side of the Buck O'Neil Bridge just South of the Missouri River.
