Kansas City Police & Preachers Walk, Pray For Peace On Prospect

TKC spent most of the week picking apart recent anti-crime plans.

The officers gathered with community members on Saturday at noon outside the East Patrol Division at 27th and Prospect Ave.

“We can work together for the change that Kansas City deserves,” said Major Kari Thompson with the KCPD Community Engagement Division. “The community came out in force today for the community.”

The dozens of people, some with signs, made their way to 35th Street but stopped at each intersection to share a prayer for the safety of Kansas City.
