KGKC Telemundo Kansas City recently announced that it will launch its first Spanish-language local newscast. “Noticias Telemundo Kansas City” is set to premiere at 5 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 14. The show is set to air at 5 and 10 p.m. Monday through Friday.
“Hispanic households in Kansas City have long been underserved,” said Telemundo Kansas City’s National Operations Director & General Manager, Steve Downing. “We are invested in our local community and are committed to doing our part to serve them by delivering first-in-class local news programming and keeping viewers informed and engaged.”
