"It’s an issue that crosses political party lines. The Jackson County Republican Party says volunteers have been at work to make sure its stolen signs get replaced free of charge.
"According to Missouri Law, stealing or defacing campaign yard signs is classified as a class four election offense and is punishable up to a year in prison, and/or a fine up to $2,500. Voters aren’t letting vandals stop them from showing their support."
