Tonight chronic Kansas City smokers can try to breathe easier after most of the city council politely ignored proposed restrictions on menthol and other flavored tobacco products.
People smoking by way of stoma don't get very much good news so this "nanny state" defeat might be close enough to a victory.
For those who have yet to confront major consequences from smoking . . . Whilst TKC mocked this silly legislation . . . We love you and want you to quit smoking without help from hapless politicos who have once again embarrassed by their drastic miscalculation of public opinion.

"On Thursday, the Kansas City, Missouri, City Council decided not to move forward with a proposal that would've put the ban in place.
