Kansas City Marathon 2024: What Are You Running From?!?

And after all these years our question remains unanswered.

Nevertheless . . .

Kansas City middle-class will clog the streets this morning running in a very big circle, for a good cause but still . . . Likely . . . Not really understanding why they choose to pound the pavement as if they're being chased from something that's far too scary to talk about out loud.

In the meantime . . . Here's road directions for those blessed simpletons like TKC who are merely searching for cheap coffee & assorted pastries . . .

Organizers are expecting 8,000 runners to participate in this year's event.

The race starts and ends in front of the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art on Emanuel Cleaver II Boulevard just north of Theis Park.

The race course stretches all the way south to 75th Street and Ward Parkway and all the way north to the River Market.
