KANSAS
CITY, MO—As juvenile crime continues to challenge us, JACKSON COUNTY
CRIME + SOLUTIONS TOWN HALL — offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity for
residents and leaders to come together and forge real, actionable
solutions. This is not your typical town hall—this is about solutions,
community engagement, and offering every resident a chance to be part of
the change with some speakers that we don’t normally hear from.
A FOCUS ON JUVENILE CRIME AND COMMUNITY SOLUTIONS
Why This Event is Different:
In a time where headlines focus on problems, this Town Hall is focused on solutions—including when it comes to the role of juveniles in recent crimes. We’ll dig deep into the "why" behind the increase in juvenile offenses and explore how the entire community can step up to address these issues head-on. From youth mentorship to community programs, our speakers will share actionable steps and invite public participation in meaningful ways.
Real Talk, Real Action:
- Panel Discussion (see speakers below): Hear directly from those on the frontlines about what's driving the surge in juvenile & other crime and what they believe will make a real difference.
- Community Q&A: Residents will have the chance to ask questions, share ideas, and voice their concerns directly to the experts.
- Opportunities for Involvement: Learn about volunteer needs, mentorship roles, and other ways to help prevent future crime by supporting our youth and families in need.
