Update on a morning shooting . . . Police are sharing a great deal of info as the suspect in this local murder is driving the vehicle of his victim.
Here are the relevant deets . . .
When KCPD arrived on the scene, they found a man laying on the ground, unresponsive. Officers determined the man suffered from gun shot wounds and died.
Police were able to speak with witnesses at the scene. Officers do not have a suspect in custody, however, they have a description of the suspect.
KCPD is searching for a black man last seen wearing dark hoodie and pants, possibly wearing a face mask. He was last seen driving a mid-2000′s, maroon over tan F-150 truck, heading in an unknown direction. Police say the vehicle was stolen with the bed cover rolled up and the tailgate down.
