Here's How Pointless Kansas City 'Flavor Ban' Hurts Small Biz

Once again cooler heads are required to explain to Mayor & Council the fundamentals of Econ 101. 

Admittedly . . . 

People shouldn't be smoking at all but our current crop of KCMO politicos simply can't understand that their "power" doesn't really have much impact of human behavior . . . Especially when we're talking about poor choices at the convenience store. 

Here's a quote from a more eloquent summary . . .

"A flavor ban in Kansas City would not mean that consumers will stop buying these products – it means they will simply travel across the border to Kansas or to other nearby cities where they can freely purchase their preferred products. This will leave retailers and small businesses in Kansas City with lost income,while their consumers take their business elsewhere."
