First Female Overland Park Police Chief Introduces Herself

Overland Park Police Chief Doreen Jokerst says community engagement, accountability measures, and transparency are among her top priorities. After one week on the job, she’s happy to be in OP.

“Overland Park in this first week has truly become my home,” she said. “I’m really looking forward to knowing more of our community members, knowing more of our staff, and really just getting integrated with this community that I’m very humbled to serve.”
