It's generally a bad idea to steal motorcycles because there's always the potential for it to belong to a very bad hombre . . . Sadly, a great deal of common sense is lost on greedy crooks.

A police narrative stated that the suspects arrived in a black BMW X3 with fraudulent Kansas tags.
One of the suspects stole a maroon 2014 Harley Davidson and then drove off.
