Did Kansas City P&L District REALLY Suffer Fall Festival Pumpkin Spice Riot?!?

This week . . . Some white lady from the sticks got scared during her visit to Kansas City.

This happens A LOT.

Actually, it's pretty much a local tradition . . . Just ask Iowa State fans.

And here's where we have to correct historic perceptions.

For most of the modern era Downtown Kansas City has been a place dominated by vice. From prostitution to rampant boozing and casual attitudes toward drug use . . . Since its inception as a trading post, our cowtown has always been a place where Midwesterners go to indulge their sins and dark side.

Efforts to clean up life inside the loop are fairly recent and mostly unsuccessful . . .  Losing at least 15 MILLION BUCKS annually.

And all of this brings us to the testimony of said white lady who is surprisingly important in po'dunk Jeff City.

Recently she shared this story . . . Here's a quote from a relevant passage . . .

"Out of nowhere comes a bunch of about 40 teenagers, turning tables over, tearing tents down and destroying things in their path."

"And Throwing Bricks"

Okay . . .

Again . . .

Since this terrified white lady is somewhat important we will "start by believing" and take her claims at face value.

In this social media era, it's totes likely that 40 teens were rioting and throwing bricks in downtown but nobody bothered to record anything on their phone. And actually, we encourage locals to share clips. Sure, we doubt there will be any prosecution but at least it will better inform the public.

Big picture . . . Dangerous youngsters causing a ruckus isn't uncommon in Kansas City . . . In fact, locals have been complaining about it all Summer 2024 with far more urgency but less success than some white lady from Jeff City.

Again . . . WE DON'T DENY THE INCIDENT OR HER FEAR . . . We merely serve to remind readers that youngsters ALLEGEDLY throwing bricks to ruin pumpkin spice fun times is only one of MANY concerns that locals have about rampant Kansas City crime.
