Crown Center officials stated on Tuesday morning that because of warm October weather, the Crown Center Ice Terrace will open on Friday, Nov. 8.
The Ice Terrace typically opens the day after the Mayor’s Christmas Tree arrives, which takes place Oct. 31 this year. But it will be a week later, as the warm temperatures have made it difficult to make ice, a Crown Center spokesperson said.
