City Attorney Scolds Clay Chastain Over Spicy Salutation En Español

Apropos for Hispanic Heritage Month . . . We share an informative glimpse at City Hall etiquette conflicting with Kansas City's most prolific transit activist. 

Here's how Clay Chastain describes the exchange . . .

"This haughty, misplaced accusation even though (I'm) respectful of all & was raised by a mother who was Latina (father born in Durango, Mexico) and spoke fluent Spanish."

And this begs the question that threatens to befuddle our most sensitive progressive KCMO denizens of the discourse . . .

IS IT APPROPRIATE TO SPEAK SPANGLISH TO LATINOS IN A PROFESSIONAL SETTING?!?

TKC isn't going to weigh in here because I'm honestly curious what readers think about this topic.

We'll only share this . . . 

Generally (with TKC being the exception that proves the rule) Latinos are friendly to a fault and you'll never really know if you offend them in a way that's not serious . . . Unless they're Puerto Rican and then all bets are off and you're on your own.  

Nobody is accusing Mr. Chastain of hateration but he was CLEARLY STUNG by the rhetorical wrist slap. Again, we leave it to readers to make the call here but from our vantage, here's the reality . . . 

A society of increasing complexity & diversity has all but eliminated the effectiveness or need for friendly banter and workers are now starting to realize that the power of personal relationships is fading in an economy wherein the only way to consistently secure a profit is to exercise LEVERAGE over customers, colleagues & humanity. 

Yeah, that's pretty bleak but you'll have plenty of time to ponder it at the self-checkout line.

Apparently the asinine, stupid-based Woke Culture has totally infected the City's legal department. The City's Attorney's office went on to (further) berate me in it's letter stating, " It is Reprehensible that you would write to a Latina attorney with a "Muchas Gracias, Senorita Carolina (translated...Thank you very much, Ms. Carolina)."..."Ms. Torres Valle has done nothing but treat you in a respectful manner and manage this case (#'s...2316-CV-33813 & WD-87380) as the law and her supervisors dictate it should be handled. Please act accordingly." ..."Tara M. Kelly Senior Associate City Attorney."

This absurd protest of manufacturing offense when no offense was intended, is rich coming from a radical, far left legal department that is currently attempting to defend it's radical, far left client, Mayor Lucas, who has... disrespected a Petition from the people, refused to debate his opponent before the people, censored a leader of the people and falsely arrested, falsely imprisoned him and maliciously prosecuted a leader of the people.

Join me fellow Kansas City registered voters in voting for Trump, Vance & Kennedy to end the Progressive's destructive control of Kansas City, the legal system and America itself.
