Chiefs Kicker Butker Debuts Faith-Based Political Action Committee

The Super Bowl champion Butker isn't "staying in his lane" and instead delves into election season politics with an effort that hopes to capitalize on his football fame and often controversial public statements.

Butker says the goal of his PAC is to motivate Christian voters to hit the polls in November to protect Christian values at the ballot box.

“Athletes are citizens like the rest of us – people who have political views and want to voice those, want to support those, want to push for policies and candidates,” Harris said. “In totality, I think it’s a good thing that we have people who are willing to be involved, active, and engaged. There are going to be athletes you agree with and disagree with, but ultimately, they are citizens as well.”
