Why Is Kansas City Media So Invested In Upcoming Women's Sports Bar?!?

That's an honest question . . .

We never realized that hot wings could have a political agenda.

Moreover . . .

The P&L District is littered with the corpses of bad bar ideas.

Brady: It’s kind of both. Our goal is to prioritize women’s sports. So, that would mean things like KC Current, the WNBA, and then a lot of more niche sports that have been rising in popularity — women’s pro rugby, women’s pro hockey, women’s pro volleyball, track and field, collegiate sports. And then there are some smaller local teams that broadcast their games on YouTube, so we’ll have some of that, too.

Kansas City's first women's sports bar

Kansas City has lots of women's sports fans and soon, they'll have a dedicated space to watch matches together. The Dub, the first dedicated bar for women's sports in the state of Missouri, plans to open this year around the corner from the Kansas City Public Library downtown.
