TKC Told You So: SunFresh Linwood Confronts Kansas City Crime Crisis

The first post title we were temped to go with . . .

KANSAS CITY SLUM-FRESH LINWOOD STAYS LOSING!!!

Forgive us our lack of surprise but we've been talking about this disaster in the making since 2018.

From our perspective . . .

There was a shoplifting crisis at this location SINCE DAY ONE. More importantly, everybody knew this plan would FAIL because local government can't run a complicated biz with razor thin profit margins like a grocery store. 

The partnership was a move in the right direction but the truth is that doing biz with KCMO politicos is simply too complicated and mostly doomed to FAIL.

Accordingly . . . 

Today even the newspaper is forced to acknowledge grocery store probs confronting this embattled location and the naked lady who constantly terrifies the clientele . . . 

"SunFresh Linwood was supposed to revive business in east KC. The store is now in crisis. Teenage grocery store shelf stockers have taken to carrying tasers in their pockets in case they have to defend themselves from customers at the SunFresh Linwood at 31st Street and Prospect Avenue in East Kansas City."
