Turnout was less than 20% in the last KCMO election . . . Here's a glimpse at numbers going forward:
"Missouri has 506,575 inactive voters as of August 2024, according to data provided by the Secretary of State’s Office. That’s approximately 12% of all registered voters.
"Missouri might decide you’re an inactive voter if you move without providing a forwarding address to the U.S. Postal Service or don’t respond to a notice from your election office within 30 days.
"As of now, voters who didn’t cast a ballot in the 2022 midterm might be labeled as inactive. If this is you, respond to a postcard from your election board to confirm your registration or call your local election board."
