We'll stipulate that all of these people are MUCH SMARTER THAN TKC.
However . . .
Whilst this move gets taxpayers off the hook . . . It also signals that the EPIC company MIGHT NOT WANT any push back from lesser government officials as layoffs have seemed like a constant and former Cerner employees get cut to the bone in what was once Kansas City's largest private employer.

"Oracle Health's acquisition terminates the remaining incentive term it otherwise was set to receive through December 2043. North Kansas City in November 2016 approved a full property tax abatement on the demonstration center for 15 years, followed by a 50% abatement for the next 10 years."
