KC Midweek Mugshot: Suspect Admits Drinking At Casino Before Deadly Crash

Here's the postscript following a deadly collision with a local biker . . .

Officers with the Riverside Police Department and MSHP met SUSPECT about half a mile down the road from the crash. There, several officers reported smelling “the faint odor of an alcoholic beverage” on SUSPECT,” the probable cause statement detailed.

SUSPECT reportedly admitted to the officers that she had “consumed alcohol” and “had been at Argosy Casino for most of the night and into the morning.”

Documents state that SUSPECT provided two blood-alcohol breath tests that morning. The first, sometime after 7:09 a.m., indicated that SUSPECT had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.164 percent. A second test, performed at 8:15 a.m., indicated 0.139 percent BAC.
