Kansas University Honchos Enjoy Pay Hike Ahead Of Faculty & Staff

The lesson here is that the top of the pyramid gets bigger and better money than everyone else lower on the food chain.

The bright side here is that it doesn't take a college degree to understand a very simple hierarchy and pecking order. 

For those who read the report . . . Notice that most of the Kansas colleges didn't respond to requests about staffer compensation AND what little data is offered showed that college honchos mostly enjoyed salary bumps that TRIPLED & QUADRUPED the raises of their underlings.

Here are the basics . . .

All six of the Kansas Board of Regents university CEOs are getting between 4% and 6% raises, KBOR communications director Matt Keith said.

Each university CEOs raise was determined after performance reviews were completed in executive session of the June 18 Regents meeting.

"I think we have a very high performing group among our presidents and chancellor," regent Wint Winter said during the meeting before taking the vote to approve.
