Kansas City Reconsiders Tyreek Hill Arrest From Safe Distance

Actually, this national news drama elicits a better question that kinda answers itself:

DOES KANSAS CITY CHIEFS FRONT OFFICE DESERVES CREDIT FOR CUTTING TYREEK HILL LOOSE GIVEN HIS LATEST DRAMA?!?

Again, here's a second look at his harsh times with perspective from local pundits . . .

In their first interview after police released body camera footage of the incident, Hill and his attorney joined CNN’s Kaitlan Collins, and Hill shared that he was still processing what happened. Video of the incident shows police pulling Hill from his car and forcing him to the ground on multiple occasions after pulling him over for a moving violation.

“I was shocked. It was crazy because it all happened so fast. Like for me, it just all happened so fast and I really couldn’t like gather everything that was happening,” Hill said on “The Source.”  Monday.

Meanwhile, in fairness, Kansas City sports talker KK has a different perspective . . .

"Video of Tyreek Hill being pulled over has been released by Miami policy and Hill is exposed as a spoiled brat and a liar.  Shocker, huh?  Hill was actually telling the cops what to do instead of complying with their demands and then rolled his shaded windows up as if barricading in his car.  That's a really big no no and led to Hill being cuffed and then exposed him as a total liar in all his comments to the media.  What a loser."

A recent quote from the Kansas City Star is much different:

After watching footage pulled from Miami-Dade Police officers’ body-worn cameras, I have an issue with the amount of force officers used on Hill. Police reportedly cited him for careless driving and failure to wear a seat belt. A routine traffic stop should never end with someone being dragged out of their vehicle, placed face down on the pavement and handcuffed with a knee on their back.

But such is life sometimes for a certain ethnic community in America.

“I’m just being Black in America,” Hill said on video to officers, according to the Miami Herald’s review of the footage. “I’m a Black man in America with a nice car.”
