Kansas City Middle-Class Political Ladies Celebrate Progress

Credit where it's due . . . 

These politically-minded Kansas City women have come a long way . . . Baby.

In fact . . .

We welcome their return to "active" metro discussions because for a few years most of the chattering class believed they were out of biz  . . . The final nail in their coffin was ALMOST former Council Lady Jolie Justus getting stomped and nearly a half a dozen of white ladies terming out of office. 

Hint: The secret sauce against this group has always been commentary about the demographics of their leadership . . . They get kinda sensitive about Brookside weighing in a bit too heavily . . . And that's not a fat joke because one of these days I want one of those "good guy" awards . . . If they gave one to a federal felon, TKC shouldn't be so hard of a sell.

Nevertheless . . .

Their time has come round once more . . . And here's a peek at their mandate going forward during a year when abortion will be the top issue in Missouri . . . Check-it:

Were 50% of the population, and not even 30% of elected officials are women, and thats something we aim to change," said Laura Loyacono, president of the Greater Kansas City Womens Political Caucus.
