Homicide and property crime surging in the Crossroads this Summer hits even harder after neighborhood leaders actively rejected investment from the Royals, unions and political leaders. In retrospect, it kinda seems like they've invited more burglars, homeless and violent criminals to the community in their defiant crusade to save a dive bar and a tattoo shop. Sure, crime happens around stadiums too BUT it's not unreasonable to consider that "momentum" is now moving against this part of town.
